1958 : Creation of SICA SCS (Agricultural Cooperative).
1962 : SICA SCS goes into business.
1972 : Partnership agreement with NK, an American seed manufacturer. Development of sales of grain maize.
1975 : Is granted a cereals breeder's card.
1984 : Start of sunflower and rapeseed breeding.
1987 : Start of maize breeding and end of partnership with NK.
1989 : Creation of Caussade Saaten GmbH (Germany).
1991 : SICA SCS becomes Caussade Semences SA. ELF SANOFI is the major shareholder of our assets. SICA SCS' shareholders create Caussade Financement which is Caussade Semences SA second main shareholder.
1994 : Caussade Financement buys out all the shares of ELF SANOFI.
2001 : Creation of GIE ACTISEM, with two other partners, in order to market and develop cereals.
2002 : Creation of Caussade Semences Belgium.
2003 : Caussade Semences joins the GIE GRASS (selection of grasses and leguminous plants).
2004 : Buying-out of the research activities of the cereal breeder SOGROUP.
2005 : Caussade Semences Belgium becomes Caussade Services Bénélux.
2009 : Creation of Caussade Semences Italia and Caussade Semences SRL Romania.
With all its shareholders from the agricultural world, Caussade Semences has been able to expand and keep its identity and its roots. As a multispecies breeder, the group Caussade Semences dedicates its professionalism to guide and support the agricultural world and the agrobusiness in the 21st century.
