Breeding’s teams work on to improve the extension of pasture management; for example, the winter growth of tall fescue.

Moreover, we take the desiccation criteria in consideration, in particular, for legume fodder crops as Lucerne and red clover.

Caussade Semences develops also a panel of species tolerant to dry conditions and able to produce forage during summer (forage sorghum, forage rape, Lucerne, Egyptian clover, oat, diploid…).

Lastly, to back up farmers in their choice of plant cover, Caussade Semences , presents a large species range and crop mixtures (undercropping).
